On March 22nd, We at Big or Bigger hosted our first bboy Dance for Canswer(D4C) workshop with Bboy Roxrite (Renegades crew/Redbullbcone All Stars/Biggest and Baddest).

To say that this Dance for Canswer workshop was filled with immense amounts of LOVE is an understatement. This workshop showed that people are willing to really give back selflessly.

When people no longer recognize the enshrined past and choose to create a future, they have chosen to reject explanation and begin a story. Or as Ella Fitzgerald interpreted it: “It isn’t where you came from, its where you’re going that counts.”

Attitude - Charles Swindoll

”The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important that the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home, or a chorus.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you, we are in charge of our attitudes.”

its been awhile.
perhaps some sort of insight to my mind. i know my pathways… but the details come later. spur-of-the-moment randomness is my ally. mistakes and errors don’t exist, but only contribute… never to be erased.. but only adapted, molded. always unending, never finished, constantly building.

What is modern about modern dance is its resistance to the past, its response to the present, its constant redefining if the idea of dance.
